HMGS Cold Wars, March 2009, Lancaster, PA
Theme -
3000 Years of Revolution!

OK, I'll admit it, I don't get it. The economy is tanking faster than the Titantic caaying a shipment of depleted uranium, and yet we had one of the best Cold Wars ever. Some 2500 of the faithful showed up to try their command prowess at over 400 different events, to include our Painting University. The dealer's I talked to indicated they were good sales as well. Go figure, because I sure can't.

And speaking of talking, what was the hot topic of conversation at the con? Historicon moving to Baltimore, of course. Fortunately honcho Frank Preziosi was able to limit those who wanted 20 paces at dawn and the show went off without a hitch. Congrats to Prez, the staff, dealers and gamers for another good one!

Ancients and Renaissance Tournaments and a little bit of Pike
and Shot to boot - what would an HMGS con be without them?

World War II Eastern Front , alawys a big draw.

Spectacular scenary and top notch figures define these clashes between
Samurai, as well as Blue and Grey.
