HMGS East Cold Wars, March 2008, Lancaster, PA
Theme -
The Golden Age of Piracy!

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! it wasn't Talk Like a Pirate day, but that didn't stop nearly 400 games and tourneys galore from making this Cold Wars a huge success. Heck, even the National Mariners' Museum was on hand to talk about the REAL Captain Jack Sparrow. And to top it off, how about a chance to for brand new T-Shirts next year commemorating our power outage Saturday afternoon?

Not to worry. It was a record year with over 2000 hardy souls brushing off the lack of lights as a mere piffle, hundreds of cell phones flipping open. This was light enough to complete that final transaction at the Dealer's Hall or make that final move in the every popular DBA and Flames of War tournaments. A hearty well done to Prez and company, even if they be landlubbers (arrrrr).

Ancients and Renaissance Tournaments - what would an HMGS con
be without them?

Flames of War tournament action, alawys a big draw.

Is there a second great page of Cold Wars 2008 pictures coming soon? Heck, its already posted.
